From the Classroom

Watershed Photography Show

Our Watershed Classroom photography students had a chance to showcase some of their wonderful work at the Petaluma Public Library this month. Students from Josie Richter's photography class at Casa Grande High School worked on their Watershed Photography project over the course of the 2015-2016 school year, during which they took several trips to locations throughout the Petaluma Watershed to capture the beauty of our local waterways.  These young artists captured stunning images in both color and black & white and then mounted them in their own hand crafted frames made from recycled materials.

Pieces selected by Friends of the Petaluma River for their artistry and representation of our local river and watershed were on display at the library for 20 days from May 12 to May 31. Although the display is no longer up, you can see more student work by visiting the Petaluma Watershed Photography page on our website.
